Rockstar’ing to BMW and beyond: Blake Mallen shares Danielle Cetani’s story

I wanted to share the story of how Danielle Cetani became one of our first Rockstar Challengers. It’s a story of how by just following the model, a brand-new Promoter could help others, qualify for a BMW in 55 days and go beyond.

The Story

Danielle had approached me during an RST event in Sacramento. “I want to tell you my story,” she said. Her husband had just lost his job, and she had opened herself to new opportunities, new adventures… and started promoting the PROJECT 10 Challenge in January.

“Did you challenge a lot of people?” I asked her.

“Yeah,” she said. “I challenged a lot of people.”

“Yes, but were you a Rockstar Promoter?”

The beaming pride on her face said it all. “Oh yeah….I’m a Rockstar. I challenged 250 people.”

“Wow,” I said. “Over-achiever… Great job. Welcome to the team. Congrats on being a Rockstar.”

 And then I just had to ask:

 “Well Danielle, with all those Challenges you collected, did any of them join The Challenge?”

“Yeah,” she answered. “A whole bunch.”

“How many signed up?”

She knew immediately. “Seventy.”

“I mean, how many did you personally enroll on The Challenge?”

“SEVENTY.”

“You have SEVENTY personal Customers?”

She answered, “Yeah…uh, is that good?”

It was better than good. With no prior network marketing experience, Danielle had already personally enrolled 70 new Customers – in less than three months – just by challenging others. This included her husband, David, who won $1,000 for losing weight on PROJECT 10, and who qualified for his BMW in 38 days.

At our NST event in March, I shared Danielle’s story on stage and asked her for the update. “100 Customers,” she told me.

The Follow-Up

I recently ran into Danielle at an event in Northern California and learned what she’s been up to. Like a true Rockstar, she’s helped many others become Rockstars. I’m proud to tell you that she’s now one of our newest National Directors.

“At first I was shy to share the business side with people,” she says. “I had never done anything like this before, so for a while I just shared The Challenge—and how it helped people lose weight or build muscle. Then I realized I was being selfish for not sharing the business opportunity. For my family, it’s been a world-changer. This company taught me how to dream.”

The number of their Customers is in the hundreds now, and Danielle and David have built their team in Rockstar-like ways. They recently took a family trip with their two daughters to Disneyland. “We went there…because we could,” she said.

Good stories always have chapters, and Danielle’s latest chapter includes a section about her family’s physical transformations. Danielle lost 35 lbs (size 18 to size 8), David lost 45 lbs (size 44 to size 36), her dad is down 25 lbs, her mom is down 15 lbs. and her sister lost 25 lbs.

Stories like Danielle’s are continually being created around the world because of the PROJECT 10 Challenge—and the Rockstars who promote it. It’s these stories that inspire me personally to do what I do each and every day.

When I hear how Danielle is working hard to become a Vi Ambassador by Vitality, and that she overcame her fear of succeeding and is currently facing her fear of failing, I know her (and David’s) story will continue to be one of courage, perseverance and… success.

After Jürgen Pulvermüller’s company went bankrupt in 2013, he promised himself to never work for the network marketing industry again, which he first started with in 2009. The former maintenance engineer then shifted towards the real estate business, but he soon found it to be unexciting and limiting.

But sometimes things turn out differently than what you initially planned for yourself.

When Jürgen met Vi Co-Founder and Global Ambassador Nick Sarnicola and UK’s 1-Star Ambassador Peter Webb, he decided to give Vi a shot. In February 2014, he accepted The Challenge, immediately enrolling as a Promoter even though he was initially apprehensive about the outcome.

Life surprised him again, however. Jürgen became a Regional Director and earned his BMW after just 16 days with Vi. Forty-three days later, he advanced to National Director. On top of that, his Challenge was an easy and wonderful experience for him—losing 10 lbs. and even participating in a triathlon.

Jürgen has also redefined his goals in life: through Vi, he wants to help more people take risks and continually Challenge themselves—whether it’s a personal, financial or fitness goal.

When asked what his motivation is, Jürgen cited one quote that has defined his life in every situation. It’s what gave him the courage to give Vi a shot, and turn it into a flourishing business:

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently—they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs, the late Apple Co-Founder and CEO (1955-2011)

Rasanter Aufstieg: So wurde Jürgen Pulvermüller National Director bei Vi Germany

Nie wieder Network Marketing – da war sich Jürgen Pulvermüller ganz sicher, als das Unternehmen, bei dem er 2009 eingestiegen war, im Jahr 2013 Pleite ging. Der frühere Wartungsingenieur stieg lieber ins Immobiliengeschäft ein, fand es aber langweilig und beengend.

Aber manchmal kommt es eben doch anders, als man denkt…

Nach einem Treffen mit Vi Gründer und Global Ambassador Nick Sarnicola und dem britischen 1-Star Ambassador Peter Webb beschloss Jürgen, Vi doch eine Chance zu geben. Er stellte sich im Februar 2014 der Challenge und schrieb sich trotz seiner Skepsis auch als Promoter ein.

Was dann folgte, hat ihn selbst am meisten überrascht: In nur 16 Tagen war Jürgen schon Regional Director mit BMW Bonus und nur 43 Tage später hatte er sich den  Rang eines National Director erkämpft! Dazu kam sein Erfolg auf der Challenge – er nahm 5 Kilo ab und bestritt sogar seinen ersten Triathlon.

Diese Erfahrungen haben Jürgens Prioritäten verändert: Heute will er als Vi-Promoter mehr Menschen ermutigen, auch mal ein Risiko einzugehen und sich der Challenge zu stellen, um ihre persönlichen, finanziellen oder sportlichen Träume zu verwirklichen.

Was treibt Jürgen an? Sein persönliches Lebensmotto hat ihm den Mut verliehen, bei Vi einzusteigen und aus dieser Chance ein erfolgreiches Geschäft zu machen:
