When Active Challenge Champions Tyler and Mimi Ford first learned about The Challenge, they thought it was all about weight loss. As athletes, they felt they didn’t need to lose any weight.

That all changed when they arrived at their first Challenge Party… and saw personal trainers and fitness gurus among them. After seeing them and tasting the Vi-Shape^® Shakes, they realized that The Challenge was much more—and something they could really get into.

Since then, The Challenge has made a huge difference in their athletic performance…

When Mimi competed in the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race for her Challenge, she improved her time by 56 minutes compared to her first time competing in the race before The Challenge. “The Challenge, for me, has allowed me to become a better athlete,” said Mimi. “I’m 53 years old and I still feel like I’m in my 30s—performing even better than when I was in my 30s.”

As for Tyler, he lost 12 lbs. on The Challenge, and had his best cycling year in terms of finishes.

And while these accomplishments are nothing short of amazing, it’s ultimately for their health.

“I always say you get a second chance at a lot of things in life, and your health’s not one of them,” said Tyler. “So for me, it’s about being healthy so I can do the things that I love to do. And that’s what ViSalus is all about for me.”
