Zymirah tells us that she’s “been big” since she was little. She got bullied because of it back then. And she still does.
“Once I lose this weight I’ll feel better and be in good shape, plus I’ll be able to play basketball,” she says. “They pick on me and call me fat now… but soon they won’t.”
The optimistic almost-teen is taking her health seriously – and she’s approaching it one day at a time. She looks back and shares how she’s had crushes on boys in the past but she didn’t think they liked her back because of her weight.
Through Genesis and PROJECT 10 Kids, Zymirah says she’s met some great new girlfriends and they go for bike rides together regularly. Her spirits are up, her attitude is exemplary, and it’s clear she can look forward to a healthier life ahead.

Meet Daniel & Jessie
It was as simple as wanting a T-shirt. A specific one, in fact—one with the words ‘i CHALLENGE YOU’ on the front.
From ‘A’ to ‘M’
As soon as Vi Presidential Director Daniel Krieger learned he only needed to challenge 150 people to become a Rock Star Challenger and earn that shirt, he formed his plan. “I had more than 1,000 friends on Facebook, so why not challenge all of them?!” Daniel told himself. And so he pulled up his Contact list… and started with letter ‘A.’
Jesse Mininni was midway down on the list.
“I didn’t actually know Jesse before I challenged him,” says Daniel. “He just belonged to one of my social groups on Facebook, and anybody on my list got sent a Challenge.”
Jesse became curious about The Challenge, and so Daniel sent him a sample of the Vi-Shape® Shake. This one sample inspired Jesse to order the Transformation Kit… and lose weight.

The WHY of it All
As a new Rising Star Director, Jesse is reminded every day of his WHY whenever he sees his 6-year-old son, Nathan.
“My girlfriend, Candice, and my son are my reasons why I’m working so hard to lose weight—I want to make sure I’m around longer for them,” he says.

Facing Forward in the Hispanic Community: 5-Star Ambassadors Freddy & Catherine Melero

Freddy Melero is able to connect with people on a level few can. Especially with those who have experienced difficult times. Maybe it’s because Freddy has personally been there, done that. Then again, it might be because he learned how to dig himself out of the trenches… and became victorious. And as Vi 5-Star Ambassadors about to reach $2 million in career earnings*, Freddy and Catherine Melero are continually showing others in the Hispanic community how to do the very same.
Life’s Roller Coaster
The son of Cuban refugees, Freddy learned firsthand how to build success from scratch. He created the life he wanted, which included a good job, his sweetheart Catherine whom he adored, and three children.
But then the 2008 economic recession hit. And for Freddy’s family, it hit especially hard. Suddenly their American Dream turned into an American Nightmare, as their cars were repossessed and they found themselves not being able to make ends meet.
But then Vi entered their life in 2010…and never left.
Hispanic Community Connection
Throughout the years, their main focus has been to help Latinos learn about the benefits of The Challenge and to transform lives—physically and/or financially.
“I always connect with people who have a burning desire to improve their current status,” says Freddy. “The reality is that some of them owe a lot of money or are in a bad situation, and it can be very degrading to them. I can relate… and we can help.”
The Meleros have already helped many people, in fact. Many.
“It makes us really happy to know that a thousand people on our team earned Bimmers and that 40 of them became Ambassadors,” says Freddy.
As they work towards the Diamond Ambassador rank, the Meleros are especially excited about the future of the PROJECT 10™ Challenge in the Hispanic community.
“We’ve found that many Hispanics are becoming more educated in terms of developing healthier perspectives and habits,” he says. “They’re dreaming again. If they can experience financial freedom, then they are more able to give back to their family and friends. The PROJECT 10 Challenge can help them do that and lead to so many monster opportunities.”
Giant Leap Forward
To help people capitalize on those opportunities, Freddy would tell aspiring Promoters to leverage Vi’s tools.
“I’m a systems person,” he says. “I don’t get bogged down in the details—I simply ask questions and share with people Vi’s tools. My favorite is the Vi Line. That then turns into a screening of the Overview video, which then turns into a 3-way call or a Challenge party. Also, if Promoters focus on challenging others and becoming Rockstar Challengers, they can increase their ability to become successful.”
As Freddy can relate to so many with a past full of bumps and bruises, it’s his future that has all his attention. “It does not matter where you’re coming from; all that matters is where you decide to go.”

Alexandria Atkinson: “My ‘why’ is my son. I eat well so he’ll eat well!”

Alexandria Atkinson from Sonya, Ontario, Canada is like many new moms who find it difficult to shed baby weight. “I gained over 60 lbs. while pregnant—and I was still eating poorly as a result of bad habits I had picked up during pregnancy,” Alex explains.
Everyone kept telling Alex that the weight would come off slowly, and not to stress about it, but her progress was slow. “The first 25 lbs. came off easily within two months of giving birth. But that was it—I was stuck,” she shares. Eight months later, she was still wearing her maternity clothing.
“I really hit rock bottom when all of my maternity pants had started to fall apart at the seams. It hit me at that moment, as I sat in a pile of tattered clothing crying, that I could either go buy new clothing for a size I never dreamed of being, or I could make a change in my eating and lifestyle habits. I decided to try the latter,” she says.
Help Came through My Cousin
Alex was Challenged to the PROJECT 10™ Challenge by her cousin and Vi Promoter, Kayla Bret. “I was really hesitant and skeptical at first. I did not think I would be able to follow The Challenge closely enough to have success—I was afraid of failing,” shares Alex.
After she hit rock bottom, she contacted Kayla but asked her to keep it a secret from her family because she felt ashamed of needing help to get back on track. “I had promised Kayla that if I had success, I would be shouting it from the rooftops, but I had to try it on my own first,” Alex explains. “I continued to wear my ripped maternity clothes, but I only needed to for two weeks!”
My Changing Figure Transformed My Outlook
“My husband (I have to brag about how great he is!) and my family were incredibly supportive, as they saw that I was finally having success and was much happier,” Alex says. “As a busy mom, the Transformation Kit was so simple—two meals a day were taken care of in a snap!”
“I am also extremely grateful for my ongoing transformation. I actually have energy! I am able to fully engage with my son and explore life with him. Prior to starting The Challenge, I had very little energy and felt like a ‘blob’,” Alex shares.
Healthy Mom, Healthy Choices
As she started on The Challenge, Alex had begun introducing table foods to her son. “As a mother, my job is to teach my child proper nutrition.”
“My little man loves broccoli and quinoa! As I planned meals for him, I started to think about better ways to share food and avoid cooking two different meals. I thought healthier eating meant more time in the kitchen, but honestly it has been just as quick to create delicious, healthy meals.”
A Repeat Challenger
Alex lost 10 lbs. on her first Challenge and immediately started on her second—and ‘LOST it’ again… now down a total of 20 lbs. She recently signed up to be a Promoter and hosted her first Challenge party a few weeks ago. “I wanted to ensure I could stand behind a good product before sharing my secrets. I fully support The Challenge, and I’m thrilled to share my success!”

UK Woman Goes from Late-Night Cravings to Losing Over 50 lbs. on The Challenge

Many of us, at one point or another, have had to resist raiding the fridge or pantry to satisfy our late-night cravings. For Amy Andrew, from Ely, Cambridgeshire, it was a constant battle that often resulted in her indulging in carbs, sugary snacks and high-calorie beer.
“I can’t remember how long my weight has been an issue—it seems like my whole life,” admitted the 23-year-old. “At the end of the day, I loved food and I would eat anything without really thinking about it.”
Although she found comfort in food, she was extremely uncomfortable with her body—avoiding shopping and feeling self-conscious about the way clothes fit on her.
Frustrated with failed diets and feeling frumpy, she decided to make a real change and take on the 90-Day Challenge. She drank two Vi-Shape® Shakes a day and snacked on Nutra-Cookies whenever she felt like “indulging.”
“I’m not going to lie, at times it was hard. You have good and bad days, but the results kept me going and you get used to eating less,” Amy admitted.
